HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

October 20, 2010: Dear students, please join me in welcoming Lou Ann Wallner as the new Clinical Coordinator for MA-C and MA-D tracks! She is your point of contact related to traineeship issues in C and D track. She joins the MA Counseling Psychology Program as Core Faculty. Lou Ann has served as Adjunct Faculty, teaching Marriage, Family, and Relationship Counseling I and II to the second year students and the Process Evening Training: Working with Children and Adolescents I to first year students. Karla will continue to keep her astute eyes on your traineeship paperwork.  Lou Ann's e-mail is lwallner@pacifica.edu and her telephone number is 805-879-7333. We are happy Lou Ann has chosen to work as part of our team. I know Lou Ann will contribute greatly to cultivating and tending the professional skills you are acquiring at your traineeship sites.

APRIL 2010

April 19, 2010: An updated Spring Quarter Traineeship Log has been posted to our website to better reflect how to record the conjoint couples and families hours in compliance with the BBS. Here is a statement from the BBS website that may be helpful while reviewing the new log:

"...you will document the total couples, families, and children hours gained on or after 1/1/2010 on the form item titled "Couples, families, and children." In the subsection below, record the amount of actual conjoint couples and families hours. This subsection is for recording purposes and will not affect your supervision requirements or increase your weekly totals. Please only document actual hours. do not double count the hours on your forms. Once your application is recieved by the Board, those hours will be evaluated, and up to the first 150 hours of conjoint couples and family hours will be doubled counted to a maximum of 300 hours."
