Disability Services

It is Pacifica's policy to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act-As Amended (ADAAA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and state and local regulations regarding students and applicants with disabilities. Under these laws, no qualified individual with a disability will be unlawfully denied access to, or participation in, services, programs, or activities of Pacifica Graduate Institute.


The goal of Disability Services at Pacifica Graduate Institute is to equalize the learning environment for students with disabilities.


Disability Defined

A disability is a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits a major life activity. Major Life Activities include (but are not limited to):

Requesting Accommodations

It is the student's responsibility to contact Disability Services directly if accommodations are desired. Each person, disability, and situation is unique, so needs will be considered individually.
